Cyber Security Awareness Program at Shanti Gyan Niketan Sr. Sec. Public School
A Three-Day Training for Classes 10, 11 & 12 between 9th -11th July 2025

Shanti Gyan Niketan Sr. Sec. Public School successfully organized a three-day Cyber Security Awareness Program for the students of Classes 10, 11, and 12 in collaboration with NIIT Foundation, New Delhi. The sessions were held in Vivekananda Hall and aimed at equipping students with essential knowledge and practical skills to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
The program was facilitated by Ms. Bhawana (Trainer) and Ms. Neha (Executive), who engaged the students through interactive presentations, real-life case studies, and Q&A rounds.
Session Objectives Included:
• Understanding Cybersecurity and its importance in today’s world
• Awareness about common cyber threats like phishing, malware, scams, and identity theft
• Learning basic online safety and cyber hygiene practices
• Guidelines for safe and responsible use of social media (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter/X)
• Insights into how Artificial Intelligence (AI) helps prevent cyber fraud (e.g., UPI security, deepfake detection, AI chatbots)
• Introduction to AI-powered tools & apps for cyber protection
• Steps on reporting cybercrimes and taking action through appropriate platforms
The sessions received an enthusiastic response from the students, and feedback was collected to assess the impact and understanding gained. All participating students will be awarded e-certificates for their successful completion of the training.
