Creating a Safe and Secure School Environment

Shanti Gyan Niketan Sr. Sec. Public School organized a POCSO Awareness Workshop on 15th July 2026 at Vivekananda Hall for the school’s dedicated maids and support staff, reinforcing our collective commitment to child safety and well-being.

The informative session was conducted by our School Counsellor, Mrs. Archana Chaudhary, who sensitized the participants about the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, emphasizing the importance of recognizing inappropriate behaviour, maintaining healthy personal boundaries, safeguarding children’s rights, and responding responsibly to any concerns.

Through interactive discussions and practical examples, the workshop empowered every participant to become a vigilant protector of children, highlighting that ensuring a safe school environment is a shared responsibility.
