      Internal Assessment (30) + Mid Term (20) + annual Term (50) = Total 100

Note :  Internal Assessment will be counted in the Final Result showing best marks. Attendance for the whole Academic Session will be counted.

  1. Subject Enrichment Activities will comprise of techniques ASL /Reading /Dictation /Debate / Public Specking etc. for languages.  Lab activities/ Projects /Map work/Model Making/ Field Trips etc. will be conducted twice in each term for Maths, Science & Social Science.
  2. Multiple Assessment will comprise of: (Quiz, Oral test, Group Discussion, Visual Expression, Graphs)
  3. Portfolio
  4. Co Scholastic Area
  5. Co Scholastic activities will be assessed on a 5 point grading scale by the concerned teacher framing effective tools for the same.
  6. Grading will not have any descriptive indicators and students will not be upgraded based on the co-scholastic grades.
  7. Co Scholastic area will cover Work Education /Art Education /Health and Physical Education.

Students will be graded by the class teachers for discipline in a 3 points grading scale considering the punctuality, sincerity, behavior and values.

 

CLASSES III TO V

The academic year comprises of two terms. Term wise progress of the child will be sent to the parents. Promotion to the next class will be based on the result of these assessments as well as internal assessments.

CLASSES I & II

The academic year comprises of two terms and each term has two rounds of weekly assessments of each subject. Accordingly, progress of the child will be documented and promotion to the next class will be based on these assessments.

Weekly assessment helps teachers to identify areas where students are struggling and where they excel.
