Today, Shanti Gyan Niketan School proudly hosted a special Workshop on Autism for our dedicated teachers at Vivekananda Hall. We take pride in highlighting that Autism Week is celebrated internationally in the first week of April, aiming to spread awareness and acceptance across the globe.

The session was graced by esteemed special guests, including Ms. Sheila George, Director and Resource Person from Ashish Foundation , who shared her valuable expertise and enlightened the audience about understanding, supporting, and empowering individuals with autism.

The workshop focused on building awareness, fostering empathy, and equipping teachers with strategies to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment according to NEP. Through interactive discussions and real-life case studies, our educators gained deeper insights into the unique needs and strengths of children on the autism spectrum. It was a truly fruitful session, filled with learning, compassion, and commitment towards inclusive education.
