Dear Parents

The school will remain closed for summer vacation from 16th May, 2018  to  1st July, 2018 (both days inclusive). Undoubtedly holidays are meant for fun and frolic and merriment, still children must utilize time for developing their skills like reading, writing, speaking, Mental Maths etc. Though children get a lot of exposure nowadays, still there is always a scope for improvement. Make your child spend fresh morning for yoga exercises, hot afternoon for completing home tasks given by teachers, pleasant evening for joining their favourite hobby classes and before sleeping spend time with your children to teach them manners and etiquettes. The students should learn to converse in English and improve their handwriting. The best of all is keep good health.

Few guidelines

  1. ‘Knowledge is Power’. Therefore encourage your child to cultivate the reading habit because it not only enhances the knowledge acquired but also develops the vocabulary, language skills and improves spellings. And also read to your child because it builds reading skills and increases his/her attention span.
  2. Communication skillsplay a pivotal role in grooming the overall personality of the children. Converse with your child preferably in English to help him /her get comfortable with the language. Encourage your child to read Children’s magazines like Magic Pot, Chandamama, etc.
  3. Sensitize your child about the rich culture and heritage by watching different informative channels like ‘The National Geographic’, Animal Planet etc.
  4.  “A healthy mind lives in a healthy body”. Encourage your child to go out and play because sports instill discipline, generate sporting spirits, channelize, energies constructively. To beat the heat encourage your child to drink plenty of water, fresh fruit and lime juice, lassi etc.
  5. Encourage your child toplay board games e.g. Chess, Ludo, Carrom etc.
  6. Encourage your child to do the activities himself / herself and appoint a specific time to do homework everyday.

Note: We have planned different types of homework taking into consideration the caliber of your ward. So whichever homework set has been assigned to your ward, only do that.

With warm regards                            Wishing all of you a very enjoyable and fun packed
